Summary of the story
Thaddeus Sivana was defeated four years ago. Hespera and Kalypso, daughters of the Titan Atlas, break into a museum to steal the Wizard's broken staff. They force the Wizard to repair it and reactivate its powers. Billy Batson and his foster siblings, known as the "Shazamily," save people on a collapsing bridge but are criticized for causing its destruction. The group is growing apart at home, with each having their own interests. Mary, the eldest girl, resents her secret superhero life for preventing her from going to college. Billy fears being kicked out of the foster system. The Wizard warns Billy about the Daughters in a dream, prompting the Shazamily to research them. Freddy Freeman, still bullied at school, falls for a new girl named Anne. Hespera and Kalypso steal Freddy's powers and reveal Anne as their sister. The Daughters kidnap Freddy and trap the city inside an indestructible dome. Freddy and the Wizard are imprisoned in the Gods' Realm. The Daughters seek revenge for their father's death by the Wizard.
