Summary of the story
A young female fled from a mysterious laboratory following a violent incident that resulted in numerous fatalities. The laboratory's proprietors, Dr. Baek and Mr. Choi, believed her to be deceased. The girl collapsed on a farm, where she was discovered by the proprietors, Mr. and Mrs. Goo. The latter nursed the girl back to health and subsequently adopted her.
Ten years later, the girl, now known as Ja-yoon, was leading a normal life, seemingly devoid of any recollection of her past. Her family was experiencing financial difficulties, her mother was exhibiting early signs of dementia, and Ja-yoon was experiencing periodic migraines. In an attempt to earn money, she decided to participate in a national singing competition that offered a substantial cash prize. She impressed the judges with her unique talent - the ability to levitate the microphone using telekinesis. This revelation prompted Dr. Baek and Mr. Choi to realize that Ja-yoon was the girl who had escaped, and they dispatched men to recapture her.
While en route to Seoul for the second round of the competition, Ja-yoon was approached by a man named Nobleman, who claimed to be familiar with her. Following the competition, she evaded an abduction attempt by Dr. Baek's men. A group of armed men stormed her home and held her family at gunpoint. Ja-yoon appeared to enter a trance-like state and dispatched the men with extraordinary strength and speed. She was left shaken, seemingly unaware of her superhuman or psionic abilities. Nobleman demanded that she accompany him, threatening to kill her parents if she refused. She acquiesced and was taken to the laboratory, where she was restrained.
